Uongozi wa   Elam Christian Harvest Seminary  kwa kushirikiana na Chuo cha GREAT COMMISSION BIBLE COLLEGE  kilichopo  MAREKANI unapenda kuwatangazia  watu wote wanaopenda kujiendeleza katika Elimu ya Mambo ya Mungu (Theology) kuwakaribisha kujiunga na masomo ya SHAHADA YA  UZAMIVU KATIKA THEOLOJIA   (Doctor of Theology ) kwa mwaka wa masomo 2019/2010. MASOMO HAYA YANAANZA KUTOLEWA MWEZI   FEBRUARY  2019

Masomo haya yanatambuliwa Kimataifa. Chuo cha Great Commission Bible College Kinatambuliwa na Bodi ya elimu ya  juu ya  nchini  Marekani. Hivyo Shahada zake zinatambuliwa Kimataifa. (It is accredited Christian Institution). Pia chuo cha Great Commision Bible College kimesajiliwa katika bodi  ya kimataifa  ya Usajiri wa  Vyuo vya  Biblia, Theologian na Seminary  inayojulikana kwa jina la  Association of Independent Christian Colleges and Seminaries (AICCS)

Masomo  haya yanatolewa kwa njia ya Mtandao na posta. Huna haja ya kuacha kazi zako na familiya yako na kwenda chuoni, masomo yetu yanakufikia kule ulipo kwa njia ya Mtandao na posta. (INTANETI) na yanafundishwa kwa lugha ya KINGEREZA

Masomo haya yametayarishwa na Waalimu mahiri katika fani ya Huduma na Theolojia, Baada ya kuhitimu mafunzo yaha mwanafunzi atakuwa na uwezo wa kufanya kazi mbalimbali za kihuduma katika taasisi za kidini na jamii kwa ujumla. Mwanafunzi ataweza kushika nyazifa za uongozi katika kanisa, kufundisha Vyuo vya Biblia na Seminary za Theolojia N.k.

Muda wa Mafunzo  ni   miaka mitatu (3)  Ingawa mwanafunzi  mwenye kusoma kwa kasi anaweza kusoma kwa  muda wa chini ya miaka mitatu. Mwanafunzi Atasoma Kozi moja hadi mbili kwa mwezi.

THE DOCTOR OF THEOLOGY DEGREE

The  Doctor   Degree in Theology (ThD) is an advanced professional degree designed to continue the education of ministers, helping you to be spiritually renewed and increasingly effective in your world ministry context. This program explores the contextual theologies of global Christianity with primary focus on the phenomenal growth and emerging scholarship within the global Spirit-empowered movement. It aims to equip scholars and practitioners to engage, impact, and serve the Kingdom of God.

This program addresses the following  FIVE  contemporary developments
● Current global shifts in Christianity.
● Academic studies of the integral relationship between Spirit-empowered Christianity and the growth of global Christianity.
● Rising social engagement in Spirit-empowered movements and the widening range of cultural and social issues raised by academics and practitioners.
● The increasing interaction of Spirit-empowered movements with other religions.

PURPOSE

 The purpose of the  ThD  program is to contribute to the body of knowledge concerned with the growth of global Christianity and Spirit-empowered movements. The program addresses these five  contemporary developments:

• Current global shifts in Christianity.
• Academic studies of the integral relationship between Spirit-empowered Christianity and the growth of global Christianity
• Rising social engagement in Spirit-empowered movements and the widening range of cultural and social issues raised by academics and practitioners.
• The increasing interaction of Spirit-empowered movements with other religions.
• Increase in the Holy Spirit’s movement amongst marginalized as opposed to inside the institutional church.

PROGRAM GOALS AND OUTCOMES

 The program goals of the  Doctor Degree  in Theology are coordinated with specific learning outcomes that graduates of the program will be expected to demonstrate.

·          Goal 1: To enable students to acquire comprehensive knowledge of the disciplines of theological study with specialization in a particular area of study

o    Outcome 1.1: Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge in and a general mastery of their major area of specialization.

o    Outcome 1.2: Demonstrate expertise in the specific area of theology by means of dissertation research.

·         G2. To provide students with the skills needed to engage in original research at seminary    level in their area of theological expertise and to contribute to the body of knowledge in the field through actionable research and publications. 

o     O.2.1. Demonstrate a capacity to produce publication-worthy research and writing that contributes to the knowledge and  advancement of the field

o    O.2.2. Disseminate the findings of research through traditional and digital means.

·         G3. To engage students in a sustained exploration of the connections and interactions between the academic disciplines of theological studies and the practices of Christian ministry, mission, spirituality, and social engagement.

o    O.3.1. Articulate knowledge of the interrelationships between the subject matter of Christian theology and the practices Christian ministry and mission.

o    O.3.2. Engage critically in theological reflection on Christian spirituality and social engagement.

·          G4. To equip students with pedagogical competencies that prepare them to teach and lead in their area of theological expertise in diverse academic and vocational contexts in local and global constituencies.

o    O.4.1. Demonstrate knowledge of learning theories and methods of assessment in order to help learners to think critically with global awareness and engagement.

o    O.4.2. Demonstrate ability to teach and lead effectively in their area of concentration and in their chosen vocational context.

·         G5. To equip students to interpret and communicate knowledge with sensitivity to the Holy Spirit.

o    O.5.1. Demonstrate an ability to interpret and to communicate knowledge from a charismatic perspective.

The Doctorate degree in Theology (ThD)  consists of 32 courses along with one Dissertation having the total 75  credits unit which student must earn in order to   satisfy the requirements  for the awards of  The Doctor of Theology

QUALIFICATION ENTRY

·        The applicant must be a Master degree holder in any religious field at least with 3.00 GPA or B grade

·        A born  again Christian

·        A Member of particular local congregation

·        With age of 25 years  and above

·        Must be approved with Doctorate Committee of the Seminary

MODE OF LEARNING

At current  seminary is running this program of study in to modes which  are online and correspondence. Face to face   mode will commence next    year

DURATION OF PROGAM

The Doctor of Theology degree  is a program of  three years. But  since that  all people are unique  therefore the is no limitation of  time duration.  Student capacity is what determine the  time framework to be used in his or her program of study. This mean that student with higher speed of learning may use less than three years to complete this program while the student with lower speed may take more than three years to complete this program

Student may request to start writing the  dissertation while proceeding with  the course work or may complete the all course work and start writing the dissertation

Student will be given the supervisor of dissertation whom will  get all  help needed in writing the  dissertation. The title of dissertation will be the area of concentration and it will appear in the degree certificate.

After completing the  program of study student will be receive  the Degree certificate of  Doctor of Theology  from  Great Commission Bible College (USA)

POSTGRADUATE OF THEOLOGY (PGDT)

   Postgraduate Diploma in Theology Programme is designed for people holding an undergraduate degree or equivalent in a discipline other than theology, who wish to upgrade their knowledge and skills in this field. This course has been designed to allow people to upgrade their knowledge and skills and also improve professional performance and personal satisfaction.   For students from other disciplines it provides a broad overview of Theology in general. Admission normally requires at least   Lower   second class degree. Also a Advanced Diploma Holder may apply to pursue this course as preparation for doing a master in Theology.

Post gradate Diploma in Theology is A special Course as Preparatory entry in Master of Theology to those people who do not have undergraduate Degree (Bachelor) in Theology or Religious Education. This course is a programme of one year of study. This Program have 60 Credit hours.  In order to qualify to be awarded this  Postgraduate Diploma   a candidate must satisfy all requirements of the Programme.

Tunakusudia kuwaandaa watendakzi na viongozi wa Kanisa wengi wenye kujaa maarifa ya Neno la Mungu na Upako wa Roho Mtakatifu kwaajili ya kuingia katika  Mavuno ya Kiroho ili kuondoa changamoto ya uhaba wa watendakazi  kama alivyosema Bwana Wetu Yesu Kristo kwamba “Mavuno ni Mengi lakini Watendakazi ni Wachache (Luka 10:2)

Tunakusudia kuanzisha  Vituo vya mafunzo katika  Maeneo mbalimbali katika mikoa na wilaya  Nchini Tanzania. Vituo hivyo vitaendesha Mafunzo ya wiki  moja hadi wiki  mbili kwa   mwezi. Hivyo tunahitaji kuwa na Wakufunzi wengi  ili kuweza kutimiza mkakati huu.

  Na mambo yale uliyoyasikia kwangu mbele ya mashahidi wengi, hayo uwakabidhi watu waaminifu watakaofaa kuwafundisha na wengine

Tunatoa  ombi  la kujitolea kufundisha   katika vituo  hivi  vitakavyoanzishwa   katika Maeneo mbalimbali nchini.

5.     Awe anajua kuongea na kuandika vizuri Kiswahili au Kiingereza.
